First Day at the Beach

As a Christmas gift to ourselves, we packed up and drove to the coast for a day of perfect, warm sun and cool breezes at Broulee beach. I was a bit worried about keeping Hailey out of the scorching Australian sun and thankfully this covered umbrella setup suggested by my Californian beach-lovin mom worked out perfectly. I tried joining Hailey while she napped and ended up with a big ole sunburn on the bottom half of me that wouldn't fit. Pays to be the cutest little baby ever.

Brian took her for her first little dip in the ocean, then I put her in a sling for a long, romantic walk down the beach while Brian surfed for his first time as a father.
