There are some great signs in Korea and unfortunately I either don't have a camera or can't get to one fast enough to document them all. But here's just a couple signs I've taken pictures of that were personally hilarious to me. The first one "Foreigners Counseling"... you just have to be here to understand. Brian and I stood there honestly wondering if we should go inside and book an appointment! As you can see, people from more than one foreign nation are lost and confused in Korea. It's nice to know we're not alone...
"Orange Hair Salon" I dedicate to my mom. Koreans have this thick, beautifully glossy black hair. I watch in envy at the crosswalks in the middle of the most humid summer of my life as their hair stays smooth, straight and flowing while mine looks like a blonde 4th of July. You can imagine if they want to lighten or colour their hair it's going to take some powerful stuff. My mom figured it's hard to mess up brown hair, right? Apparently 'light' and 'red' sound the same in Korean, and what was meant to be brown somehow came out bright orange. Eventually, it all got sorted. I'm not sure if this salon is where people go who are afflicted with orange hair, or if they specialize in it. Either way, I'd steer clear.

Oh, my! That is so funny! The biggest mistake with my hair happened when I said "regular" and they thought I said "red color".
