We're hitting off the new year at 100 degrees, but finding some fun ways to keep cool. The bike seat is now mounted on my bike and we're getting a second frame so it can interchange with Brian's bike. Hailey LOVES it and reaches out longingly for the bike every time we park the car. She may have to wait until next week though with it as hot as it is this week. We also found her a helmet that fits a bit better too :) It has been so wonderful spending every day with Brian over the holiday. Especially for the two of them getting some morning playtime with a lie in for me!
We spent a day at the beach this week where it was more like 70. Hailey was amazing, running straight for the waves without fear. I'd pick her up for any big ones and she'd just keep kickin her little legs, so excited about it all. She loved it and didn't even eat any sand like I was expecting.
Brian got some surfing in and broke in his brand new wetsuit that Santa brought by.
One last dip before heading home. Brrrrr!
