Zoo Animals

Now that we've moved off the farm (sniff, sniff) I thought an annual pass to the zoo would be good to keep Hailey familiar with seeing some animals around. She really loved the horses and chickens and the cat! So excited every time the cat came around, who completely tried to ignore her. Poor thing is named Mindy, but they took it to the vet when it was about 6 years old and found out it was a boy! Haha. Too late to change the name then. The girls loved the giraffes which where big and easy for them to see. It's so fun now that they're big enough to watch and get excited by the animals! Lizzie and Stella got passes too so we have fantastic zoo buddies anytime.

A few years ago Brian and I went for his birthday for a "touching experience" at the zoo where we fed all the animals one on one. Our guide was in charge of naming all of these little monkeys and had run out of ideas for Spanish names. Brian offered his high school Spanish name and this little guy was named Javier.
