Dinosaurs

I've been putting off a visit to the dinosaur museum thinking it might be really hobunk and badly done and not worth the $10 entry fee. It was probably the last kid-related activity in the city I hadn't tried so finally gave it a go, and oh my goodness, I loved it!! To be honest, it is a little bit cheesy, but for a smallish museum they really pack in some great displays, and really well done dinosaur replicas, some in full size and some that have motion sensors that move and make noise as you walk by. That kinda scared Hailey a bit. It's a lot of teeth for a little girl to take in. But there were also real fossils and really interesting bits of information everywhere that I wish I could have had more time to read. A bit tough with a little sprinter! There were plenty of hands on things to keep Hailey temporarily occupied and a fun play area with puzzles and activities and a movie playing about Denver's Jurassic (and other epochs) past.

This was not one of the hands on exhibits, but Hailey didn't know that! Little scavenger - those eggs looked just too tempting. Is it wrong to take a picture and then try to save the display??

Wish this one hadn't come out blurry, so cute!
